Beth Sauerhaft is a facilitator, adult educator, cultural worker and consultant. Beth is available on a limited basis to speak at mural engagements.
In 1970 Beth’s aunt died of breast cancer. The secrecy in Beth’s family about the five years her aunt suffered with breast cancer was a personal motivation for her in creating the BCOHAP. She was named a 1996-97 Literacy Leader Fellow with the National Institute For Literacy for her work documenting the power of participatory action research in linking health and adult literacy.
Beth resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her daughter Danya whom she adopted from China in 1999.
